By achieving these Oracle Ready statuses, Carrier Call is now in the position to provide telecom operators its XCarrier 4.8 interconnection suite on a highly economical, reliable and scalable environment. Operationally, XCarrier leverages Oracle Partitioning and Data Guard in conjunction with Oracle Database 11g to improve information management capabilities, to run queries faster by deploying multiple storage layers based on recent activity and to reduce customers' storage, disk space, back-up and energy costs significantly and simultaneously increasing its green computing capabilities.
Oracle Database 11g, Oracle WebLogic Server, Oracle Solaris and Oracle Linux Ready are part of the Oracle Exastack Ready program which allows partners, such as Carrier Call, to be recognized by Oracle for developing, testing and tuning their applications on the latest component products of the Oracle Exadata Database Machine or Oracle Exalogic Elastic Cloud engineered systems.

Oracle Database 11g offers Carrier Call industry leading performance, reliability and scalability to power the most demanding business critical applications. It also helps customers save money by lowering storage usage, reducing administration tasks, and enabling consolidation onto secure private database cloud environments. Oracle WebLogic Server, the #1 application server by vendor share and growth, provides a highly innovative, reliable, scalable, and performant cloud application foundation. Oracle Solaris is the #1 enterprise operating system providing industry leading availability, security and performance on both SPARC and x86 systems. Oracle Linux, with its default Unbreakable Enterprise Kernel, brings the latest Linux innovations to market, delivering extreme performance, advanced scalability, and reliability for enterprise applications, at a lower cost.

Carrier Call's Chief Operating Officer Markus Wehinger said: "By achieving Oracle Ready status for Oracle Database, Oracle WebLogic, Oracle Solaris and Oracle Linux we will be able to help our customers boost operational and commercial effectiveness whilst gaining competitive advantage in an industry with eroding margins and permanently growing data requirements."

Additionally, Carrier Call offers both on-premise and Cloud / SaaS XCarrier implementations to fit the internal and external requirements of telecom operators. This provides flexibility and availability of business support systems, which are key to enable telecom operators to manage their daily and future operational and commercial challenges.
