Branded companies and their agencies recognize more and more the importance of advertising related t eGame (computer/ video/ console/ online/ mobile games). The target group is addressed within it's very own medium by eGame marketing. "Product placement" was yesterday, "eGame marketing" is today! - This is the motto of the 4th GfM World Congress, taking place from the 29th till the 30th March 2007 in Berlin.

The linking-up of advertising platforms (online, mobile, PC/ console and media) is illustrated intensively on the congress for the first time. The GfM World Congress as the single and unique european platform informs about important trends for the advertising industry over two days with over 150 participants from whole Europe expected. Thus the biggest meeting within the young eGame-Advertising industry grows even more in the coming year.

The partnership with BIU (German Association of Interactive Game Developers), closed for the first time, establishes a direct feedback channel to all relevant producers of computer games. "The market for In-Game-Advertising brings potential for additional sales volume in the future. Some of our members have stayed abreast of theses changes already. Microsoft has set a sign and announced a greater engagement in this market segment in 2006 with the purchase of the In-Game-Advertising pioneer Massive Inc.Electronic Arts (EA) is already planing In-Game-Advertising for some chosen titles in cooperation with Massive Inc. and IGA Worldwide" stated by Olaf Walters, the managing director of BIU e.V. "We appreciate the cooperation with BIU very much because as a result the most important producers of computer games are integrated intensively", Carsten Szameitat, managing director of the congress organizer, 11 Prozent Communication Ltd.

IGA Worldwide Inc, one of the first global media and agency groups for advertisements in PC and video games, could also be won as a partner. "The GfM World Congress is the most important european convention for our business, so we will keep supporting the congress", Justin Townsend, CEO of IGA Worldwide Inc., New York. Furthermore, the new possibilities of marketing with online-platforms, clans and communities find a platform with their leading companies on the congress.

Entertainment and advertising range cannot be divided any more. Where will branded entertainment lead the entertainment industry to? Are the new formats of advertisement a danger or a chance for the media and entertainment industry? All these questions will be answered during the congress by top-class speakers.

Participants get an intensive insight into the young industry during the first eGame meetnight with the possibility of connecting new contacts. The target group of the 4th GfM World Congress includes branded companies, publisher, advertising agencies, media, TV and radio.
